Designed and implemented TCP's unified Single Sign-On portal — OIDC on AWS Cognito, single-table DynamoDB schema with DAX caching, API design, and Terraform infrastructure (ECS, Redis). Lets four products (Aladtec, Humanity, TimeClock, mobile app) offload identity and data security to a shared platform, serving ~1,000 client companies at 99.99% auth success.
Inherited a stalled data-integration pipeline spanning ~100 SQL Server instances and 1,000 single-tenant databases; built a decoupled, release-train deployment pipeline to free it from the core product's slower release cycle, then grew the team and transitioned ownership to a dedicated engineer.
Designed and built a greenfield DynamoDB-based progress-tracking system for bulk client onboarding, engineered to avoid adding latency to the live real-time sync pipeline it shares.
Built an automated PowerShell-based machine-setup tool, cutting new developer setup time from ~1 week to ~1 hour (40x).

Owned Indeed's SMB subscription provisioning microservice (tens of thousands of business accounts); led its migration from gRPC to GraphQL as part of a company-wide API strategy shift without disrupting production traffic.
Migrated 15 Java projects from Java 8 to 20; identified the same upgrade need across ~1,000 projects company-wide and built an automated dependency-graph migration script, contributed to Indeed's broader modernization initiative.

Owned a microservice serving a production ML model at ~10K requests/second peak load, primarily consumed by internal batch systems.
Designed and implemented a DAG-pipeline observability framework using the VALET methodology on Wayfair's existing DataDog infrastructure, collaborating with the product team to define key pipeline metrics; adopted by the team.
Took over a stalled effort to scale an Airflow/Spark ML pipeline into new international markets (UK, EU); resolved deep infrastructure issues (OOM failures, Spark cluster instability) and validated it through successful staging runs before the initiative was deprioritized company-wide.
Gathered requirements and authored the design for a multi-model product tag inference pipeline, implementing an initial code draft before transitioning to a different initiative.

Microsoft — On a 5-engineer team, decoupled Dynamics CRM from its SQL Server dependency onto a NoSQL data store, continuously integrating against a 1,600-engineer org shipping in parallel branches; resolved a critical blocking bug via a 3-week binary-search investigation across 8-16 hour build cycles.
Space Labs — Built a Docker Swarm-based Cassandra cluster for a greenfield patient-telemetry platform (on-prem and cloud); later served as onsite point of contact for a 30-person distributed team during a technology stack upgrade.
Siemens — Devised an original field-repair approach for faulty ultrasound probes, avoiding ~$20M in return/replacement costs, across a stack spanning touch-panel UI to low-level software bugs.
